PASMA training in Manchester from Access Towers comes from a company built on mobile towers. We have hired, sold and trained on them since 2004, and our PASMA centre sits in the top 5% in the UK. Now the same courses run from our venue in Pendlebury, just off the M60.
Most delegates need Towers for Users, the course behind the PASMA card that Greater Manchester sites ask for before a tower goes up. If your work also involves podiums and low-level platforms, the combined course covers both in one day.
Towers for Managers is for people who plan and supervise tower work rather than build it. The specialist modules cover the builds a standard course doesn't: stairs, cantilevers, bridges and linked towers. Each one builds on a valid Towers for Users card.
Work at Height Essentials is a short introduction to the rules and risks for anyone whose job involves working at height, whether or not they build towers.
PASMA courses run at our training centre at Agecroft Enterprise Park, 2 Shearer Way, Pendlebury, Manchester M27 8WA, a short drive from Junction 17 of the M60. It is within easy reach of Salford, Swinton, Bolton, Bury, Wigan and Manchester city centre, and Clifton station is about a mile away.
Delegates who pass are certified the same day, and PASMA qualifications are valid for five years. Most of our PASMA courses take a single day, so you can arrive in the morning and leave qualified.
Courses run Monday to Saturday. For four or more delegates, we can also run PASMA training at your premises anywhere in Greater Manchester, using your own towers if they are suitable.
Bring your own PPE for the practical session: hard hat, safety boots, hi-vis and gloves. Your booking confirmation sets out everything else you need.
If you build or use mobile towers, take Towers for Users. If you supervise tower work, take Towers for Managers. For stairs, cantilevers, bridges or linked towers, take the specialist module on top of Towers for Users.

Towers for Users is £125 + VAT per person. Low Level Access and Work at Height Essentials are £95 + VAT, the combined course £150 + VAT, Towers for Managers £125 + VAT, and the specialist stairs, cantilever, bridge and linked-tower courses £175 + VAT.
