PASMA Towers on Stairs in Manchester teaches the build that catches out even experienced tower users: a level, stable tower over a staircase. Greater Manchester is full of stairwells that need work, from converted mills and Victorian terraces to modern apartment cores and office atriums, and packing a standard tower onto the treads isn't an acceptable answer.
The legs sit at different heights, so the base has to be set up with adjustable legs and the right components. Stabilisers have to find solid bearing on treads and landings. The whole structure has to be checked for level and plumb before anyone climbs. The course works through each step on a real stair build.
Towers on Stairs is a specialist module, so delegates need a valid PASMA Towers for Users qualification first. If your team doesn't hold it yet, we can schedule both.
Towers on Stairs is a one-day course at our training centre at Agecroft, Pendlebury, a short drive from Junction 17 of the M60. Courses run Monday to Saturday, and delegates who pass are certified the same day, with a PASMA qualification valid for five years.
If you don't hold Towers for Users yet, book it first, then add Towers on Stairs. Have your Towers for Users details to hand when you book, and bring your own PPE on the day: hard hat, safety boots, hi-vis and gloves.
For four or more delegates, training on your own stairwell is often the most useful option, because delegates build over the stair they will actually be working above. We deliver on site anywhere in Greater Manchester.
