Work at height training in Manchester from Access Towers brings the courses we have delivered since 2004 to a new venue in Pendlebury, a few minutes from the M60. More than 350 delegates a month go through our courses, and our PASMA centre ranks in the top 5% in the UK.
IPAF training covers scissor lifts, booms, vehicle-mounted platforms and push-around verticals. PASMA training covers mobile access towers and low-level platforms, from the core Towers for Users course to the specialist stairs, cantilever, bridge and linked-tower modules. Safety harness training covers anyone working in restraint or fall arrest.
Greater Manchester's building boom means cranes over the city centre, fit-outs at Salford Quays and MediaCityUK, and warehouse space running out along the M60 and M62. Nearly all of it involves someone working at height, and nearly every principal contractor asks to see a card before they do. Our courses are run by instructors who work in access, and they are built around what those sites actually check.
Tell us how many operatives you have and which course they need. We will hold a date at our Pendlebury venue for your group, or bring the course to your own premises anywhere in Greater Manchester.
Our Manchester training centre is at Agecroft Enterprise Park, 2 Shearer Way, Pendlebury, Manchester M27 8WA, a short drive from Junction 17 of the M60. Delegates come in from Salford, Swinton, Eccles, Prestwich, Bury, Bolton and Wigan, as well as from the city centre and Trafford Park. If you are travelling by train, Clifton station is about a mile away.
Pass an IPAF course and your PAL card is issued the same day as an ePAL, ready to show on site straight away. PASMA delegates are certified the same day too. Both qualifications are valid for five years and are recognised by principal contractors across the UK.
Courses run six days a week, Monday to Saturday. As a result, operatives can train on a Saturday without losing a day on site, and employers can fit a whole team around the programme. For groups of four or more, we can also run the course at your premises anywhere in Greater Manchester.
If you operate scissor lifts or cherry pickers, start with IPAF training. If you build or use aluminium scaffold towers, start with PASMA Towers for Users. If you wear a harness on a roof, a steel frame or near an open edge, book safety harness training. Not sure? Call 0161 533 0903 and we will point you to the right course.
