Ladder and step ladder training in Manchester gives users the knowledge and practical skills to work safely from ladders and reduce the risk of falls. Ladders are still one of the most common causes of falls from height on UK sites, and the Work at Height Regulations 2005 require anyone using one at work to be competent to do so.
Your responsibilities under the Work at Height Regulations, selecting the right ladder for the task, pre-use checks and formal inspection, safe set-up, footing and angles, safe working practices and common misuse, and when a ladder is the wrong choice and a mobile tower or podium should be used instead. It combines classroom theory with practical demonstration.
The course runs from 8am to 1pm at our Pendlebury training centre, a short drive from Junction 17 of the M60, with on-site parking. For groups of four or more we can deliver it at your premises anywhere in Greater Manchester. Delegates receive a certificate of completion.
