Platform heights go up to 4.1m, which covers most indoor work — ceilings, lighting, alarms, ductwork and general maintenance. The frame is aluminium and comes with guardrails and lockable castors. For anything higher you want a single width tower, which uses the same 0.72m frame width but goes considerably taller.
Working alone does not remove the need to be trained. Under the Work at Height Regulations 2005 the user should hold a valid PASMA qualification before assembling or using a mobile access tower, and we run those courses from our Croydon centre.
