PASMA Towers on Stairs training is a specialist course for building mobile access towers safely on staircases and stepped ground. Because a tower on stairs needs different techniques to keep it level, stable and safe, this course builds directly on your existing Towers for Users skills.
Through classroom theory and hands-on practical training, you'll cover the Work at Height Regulations, the PASMA Code of Practice, the specific hazards of stairwell builds, and the enabling components involved. In addition, you'll practise pre-use and post-assembly inspections, as well as the 3T (Through The Trapdoor) and Advanced Guardrail (AGR) safe build methods applied to stepped ground.
You must hold a valid PASMA Towers for Users qualification to attend, because this course builds directly on those core skills. Assessment is by a multiple-choice theory paper and a practical skills assessment. Once you pass, you'll receive a PASMA qualification with the stair-tower category added, valid for 5 years.
