Ladder and step ladder training gives users the knowledge and practical skills to work safely from ladders and step ladders and to reduce the risk of falls. The course covers the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and your responsibilities under them, selecting the right ladder for the task, pre-use checks and formal inspection, safe set-up, footing and angles, safe working practices and common misuse, and when a ladder is the wrong choice and an alternative such as a tower or podium should be used. It combines classroom theory with practical demonstration.
