Manual handling training gives delegates the knowledge and practical technique to lift and move loads safely and to reduce the risk of injury. The course covers the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 and your responsibilities under them, the structure of the spine and how handling injuries occur, assessing a handling task (the load, the individual, the task and the environment), safe lifting technique, team handling, and the use of handling aids. It combines classroom theory with practical demonstration and supervised practice.
On successful completion, delegates receive a certificate of completion. We deliver the course at our Croydon centre or on site at your premises across London and the South East, with group discounts available.
