PASMA Approved Training Centre
Specialist 1-day PASMA Towers with Bridges training — span obstacles with bridged mobile access towers. Builds on your Towers for Users qualification and adds category A7. At our Croydon centre or on site across London and the South East.
PASMA Towers with Bridges training is a one-day specialist course (category A7) for spanning obstacles with bridged mobile access towers. Because a bridged tower spans a gap — a doorway, walkway or piece of machinery — while leaving clear space at ground level, it's ideal for aircraft and machinery maintenance, or anywhere access routes below must stay open.
Through classroom theory and hands-on practical training, you'll learn the techniques for connecting towers and spanning obstacles, as well as new enabling components such as bridge beams. In addition, the course covers Work at Height responsibilities, the standards affecting bridged towers, pre-use and post-assembly inspections, and the 3T (Through The Trapdoor) and Advanced Guardrail (AGR) safe build methods, following the PASMA Code of Practice.
You must hold a valid PASMA Towers for Users qualification to attend, because this course builds directly on those core skills. Assessment is by a multiple-choice theory paper and a practical skills assessment. Once you pass, you'll receive a PASMA qualification and certificate with the new category A7 (towers with bridges), valid for 5 years.
With more than 20 years of training experience, Access Towers helps over 350 trainees each month gain work-at-height qualifications across London and the South East.
